....in 1850 the Fox family moved to Albany, the girls decided to follow their handlers advice by taking quarters in the luxurious Banrun Hotel in NYC. they drew throngs of people from curious to convinced to great and near-great of the city and crowded into the Fox sisters public demonstrations and readings....WILLIAM CULLEN BRYANT... went to the Barnum to meet the sisters, confer with them, participate in their 'rap' sessions....
