The Foster Family W.T. Foster cont.
THE LAST WORD
except that circumstances compel me to reduce the history of my family and my race to a very small volume, a mere booklet, whereas many large volumes would be necessary to fully explain and record all the important facts connected with the subject.
(I think you did a fine job, Mr. Foster! deb)
The race of Adamm will yet be better known. Buried engravings will reveal the facts about our ancestors of the very remote past. I believe those buried records of a prehistoric race will be found in the country known so very long ago as Eden, from whence came the Shepherd Kings of Egypt, the ancient Greeks, the northern Hindoos, the later Italians, the Kelts of Ireland, Scotland and the European countries, and later our own race, the Wends who conquered the Roman Empire.
Altho seven volumes of the histories of the armies and people of William the Conquerer have been published, they only make a beginning of the wonderful history of the descendants of the Norman-French. Take their work out of our American history and there is nothing left. These descendants gave and have preserved to us all the liberties we now enjoy. Had it not been for those brave, brainy, liberty loving people who left England, Scotland, Ireland, France, and Germany and came to this country because of religious and other persecutions, America would now be in the same deplorable condition that India suffers. It is a notable fact that the Wends, who left the highlands of Asia, 2500 years ago, always have boldly, fearlessly, fiercely and intelligently contended for the rights of the people as against the oppressions of their kings, lawmakers, and misused accumulations of wealth.
I have in mind to write another booklet giving my personal history, in which I hope to explain whey I did not chose th road to wealth and why I have followed the wealth losing policy of standing for principle rather than to make pelf(???deb) my shining star.
