at the home of the bride's parents, in Taggart, Mo at high noon, Saturday, Feb. 14 1903, Eld J.H. Stark officiating. A.E. Orton and Miss Mamie Higdon acted as best man and bride's maid.
Immediately after the ceremony, the company repaired to the dining room, where a table stood groaning under the weight of appetizing dishes, prepared by experts at the culinary art.
We understand that Mr. Orton is a prominent young man of Bethany, and holds an honorable position as stenographer for Dr. Martin. Miss Higdon is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Philip Higdon and has host of young friends who regret to see her leave their midst, but wish her abundant happiness in her new home.
