William R. Oxford, 71, Dies At Leon

William R. Oxford, 71, died Monday at a Leon, Iowa, rest home.
He is survived by his wife, Opal of the home at Pleasanton, Iowa; five daughters, Mrs Kathleen Katley, Monterey, Calif., Mrs Stella Bingaman and Mrs Marjorie Grissin, both of Des Moines, Mrs Opal Hacker, Darlington, and Mrs Sue Cox, Pleasanton; seven sons, William Oxford, Kenneth Oxford, Leonard Oxford, Ransall Oxford, Garland Oxford, and Basil Oxford, Davenport, Iowa; a sister, MRs. Alma Boyd, Pomona, Calif.; 34 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Stoklasa Chapel in Cainsville, with the Rev. Bernard Hoordhoek officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery at Cainsville.
