Minerva Alice Maxwell Brown. Minerva for her grandmother Minerva Creswell Maxwell. Alice for her great grandmother Alice Creswell Maxwell. nowadays we're all about inventing new names for our kids. I mean, we did harness our kids with 2 family names, Koren 's middle name is Marie after Kevin's grandmother Mabel Marie Shroyer Dailey Hass, and KJ is Karl Joseph. Kevin wanted his initials to be "KJ" after his friend our insurance agent. KArl was his grandfather Howard Karl Dailey's middle name. Marie said Joseph was a Shroyer name. It was also the name of one of my Grandma's Leona Grace Maxwell Brown's little brothers that died before she was born. Katie of course is named after an ancestor I wish I had: Katie Scarlett O'Hara.
Lisa named her oldest boy Maxwell Oran Butler. Maxwell was our grandma Brown's maiden name. Oran was a family name on her husbands side.
Koren's first born is Ian Boyd Wills. Boyd is her husband Cody's middle name, and also his father's middle name.
It's nice to hand names down. to keep them in the family.
